I brought our truck in for a routine oil change and to check a few sensors that were not working. Our blind spot sensors and the auto lights for the automatic running boards were not functioning. Upon leaving after services were rendered a new warning light that had not been on turned on as I was getting ready to leave the parking lot. I quickly turned around to go ask the service department to check it out and make sure everything was okay. I was going to be leaving for Dallas with my so. and did not want a problem on my hands. I waited to speak to Jeff and once I had a chance to he requested a service tech to check it out. Two young men came out to my truck and started it up. The warning light was still on and they acted baffled and said they didn’t know what the light was for. It was an orange P in a circle with a wrench underneath it. They go back inside and I follow. They’re asking another guy named Todd what it could be. Apparently he is the gentleman who had done the oil change and checked the faulty sensors. The entire time he never once looked at me. He shrugged his shoulders and said he didn’t know what it was. He then said it was related to the faulty blind spot sensors. I stated in response that they had not been working for at least two weeks and never once was that warning light triggered. He completely blew me off in an extremely rude way. This type of treatment generally results in someone never returning to have their vehicle serviced. He was wholly out of line. He had just had my vehicle in and a new warning light was on. That is a problem. A quick Google search on my own part indicated it could be related to the parking break needing to be reset or as severe as the power train. To be blown off after having paid in cash for that truck a year ago, following service recommendations to a tee and having just placed an order for a custom 2025 YUKON AT4X makes me seriously question our choice to be a repeat customer. To be treated as if I were a ninny and a complete inconvenience to Todd was completely unacceptable. He will never be allowed to tough any of our vehicles again. Al Jackson, the sales rep, was kind and attentive to my concerns and quickly found Jeff again for me. I relayed my concerns to them both.

I have no problem with John Vance Auto the problem I have is with GM. I bought an extended warranty direct from GM for $5800.00 because in the past if something wasn't working they made it right, not the case anymore. They call it an update and that's not covered, if it's not working when you pull in the dealership to me it's broke. I was going to buy another warranty in about 3000 miles for my second Yukon but now I know they are going to find away out, I think I can just save my money.

My mother took my car for an oil change. I gave her 100 for the oil change. I feel she was pushed services and changes to my car because I was not there. They fully know I just had my wipers changed at my last oil change and they are in perfect working condition but because I was not there they tried to force my mother to buy wipers and told her I would lose my warranty. She fought back and even involved another customer. My mother is 70 years old helping me out and I did not appreciate this. She texted me during and I told her no. I also told her no on the filters that I just did them on my last oil change and would do it next time. She felt forced into that. I just spent 200 at my last oil change and spent 160 at this one which is absolutely ridiculous. The wipers put me over the edge. They work perfect. Your service division JUST changed them. Why would they try to force a service for new blades when there are brand new blades that last more than six months on my car????

The only issue I had was that I made an appointment online for 9:30 and was called right after to schedule it for 11:00. That was fine. I show up at 11:00 for my appointment and they didn't have it in the computer. I did schedule online but was called almost immediately after and had a full conversation with the lady about how long it would take. They did go ahead and do my service. The computer scheduling option needs to be revamped.

the personal i met and worked with were well versed and very knowledgeable of the gm products. the only downside was the owners Manuel seems inadequate and doesn't cover the interior questions that i have. it covers the dos and don'ts very well but not the how to revise things that you should be able to revise. all in all you have a very good staff and it was a pleasure to meet anf work with them

This was our third time that we have brought our Buick in for service, 2 of the 3 times including this last time, we were told that we did not have an appointment to have the car serviced. Each time we have made an appointment we have received an email & text conformation. It kind of leaves a bad feeling toward your service department. We paid our bill and our key was handed to us and we were told our car was out in the parking lot. It took us a while looking for our vehicle. Not the best service.
